NIB 4 row bayonet lug/heat shield for the 1897 and Model 12 Winchester shotgun and other military type 12 gauge shotgun builds.  Excellent reproduction, blued steel heat shield/bayonet lug , 19-hole/4-row pattern includes the front sling swivel, brass sight bead and attaching screws. 

This fits:

• Winchester 1897 solid frame guns with the existing magazine plug. 
• Winchester 1897 takedown frame guns with the addition of a solid frame magazine plug and screw.
• Winchester Model 12, 2 3/4” field gun with the addition of a barrel sleeve just like Winchester originally did it.
• Winchester Model 12, 3” duck gun without a sleeve. 

These and other guns may require barrel modification to fit. 

Some barrels may need to have the front 4-5 inches lathe turned to .870” for the shield to fit.

All barrels will require three cross barrel grooves in the underside of the barrel to give clearance for the shield screws.
